DCENT_OS — Public Beta (beta20260709)

Open-source mining firmware by D-Central Technologies. This build is the Xilinx (Zynq) public beta for Antminer S9 and S19j Pro (Zynq / XIL). Every package is Ed25519-signed and its A/B NAND install path is offline-proven (nandsim write-path, pre-flip readback verified).

Beta status. These images are signed and install-path-proven in simulation, but a witnessed live-hardware boot-and-mine capstone is still in progress. Flash at your own risk on a spare unit, and keep a serial/SD recovery path available.

Verify

Each sysupgrade package embeds a signed manifest verified against the beta release public key 26985575eae77d56c490ceeb9054af012eab5ae59119cd20eaa70dd7e722df83. Confirm checksums with sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt.

Install — sysupgrade (.tar)

A/B packages write to the inactive NAND slot and never touch the running system. Install from a miner already on BraiinsOS / stock via the DCENT Toolbox (dcent install <MINER_IP> -f DCENTOS_XIL1_S9_beta20260709.tar) or the DCENT_OS web updater.

Install — SD card (.img, S9)

Write DCENTOS_XIL1_S9_SD_beta20260709.img to a microSD with balenaEtcher. To boot from SD: on a BraiinsOS S9 set fw_setenv sd_boot yes and reboot; otherwise use the control-board SD-boot jumper. Note: confirm your board's SD-boot jumper position before relying on it — it varies by control-board revision. SSH in as root after boot.
