L3+ Kernel – Antminer L3+ refresh screen failure

Refresh screen glitches are repeated by posting the same message on the same page or sending the same message on different pages. When the miner’s kernel log has a refresh screen failure, how do we troubleshoot the failure?

Troubleshooting method:

If the refresh screen fails, it is most likely a chip problem and this will require hashboard level repairs. You must check whether the chip’s RI and CO signal voltages are typical. Generally, start the investigation from the first field, find the BM1485 ASIC chip with abnormal voltage and replace it.

RI test method: use a fluke 17B+ multimeter to adjust to the DC gear, and place the red and black test pens on the radiator and RI of the same domain, respectively. Whether the measured voltage result is abnormal can be compared with the resistance value of other chips in the same domain.

CO test method: quickly find the faulty chip through the short-circuit test point “CO.”
