Symptoms

Step-by-Step Fix

Power off and let the unit cool completely.

Clean all dust from the miner using compressed air, paying attention to heatsink fins.

Check both fans for proper rotation. S9 fans are common failure points.

Verify ambient temperature is acceptable (below 35°C).

If running in a space heater configuration, ensure adequate exhaust ventilation.

Check thermal paste on ASIC chips if unit is older than 2 years.
