PCBs are the foundation of all electronic mining hardware. In ASIC miners, hashboard PCBs are multi-layer boards designed to handle high currents and heat dissipation. They contain copper traces that route power and data between ASIC chips, voltage regulators, and connectors.
PCB damage (cracked traces, delamination, corrosion) is a serious repair issue that can be difficult or impossible to fix. Proper handling and avoiding moisture exposure helps prevent PCB degradation.
