Description
Overview
The Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast Bitaxe Edition is a limited-edition solo Bitcoin miner built on the Bitaxe Gamma (600 Series) platform — a collaboration between D-Central Technologies and the Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast. Each unit features a custom engraving with the podcast’s iconic catchphrase and is powered by a BM1370 ASIC chip, the same 5nm silicon found in the Antminer S21 Pro.
At 1.0-1.2 TH/s, this is one of the most powerful single-chip Bitaxe configurations available. The BM1370 delivers roughly double the hashrate of the BM1368-based Supra at comparable efficiency, giving lottery miners a meaningfully better shot at solo-mining a full Bitcoin block. It connects to your Wi-Fi, points at a solo mining pool, and hashes SHA-256 around the clock — the entire 3.125 BTC block reward goes directly to your wallet if you find a block.
This edition supports the Canadian Bitcoin community directly — a portion of each sale is donated to Open Source Miners United (OSMU) in alignment with the open-source mining mission that both the podcast and D-Central champion. Available in multiple case colors with your choice of cooling configuration.

Key Features
- BM1370 — The Most Powerful Single-Chip Bitaxe: The Gamma platform with the BM1370 delivers 1.0-1.2 TH/s, roughly double the hashrate of a Bitaxe Supra. This is as much hashing power as you can get from a single ASIC chip on a Bitaxe board.
- Limited-Edition Podcast Collaboration: Custom engraving featuring the Canadian Bitcoiners Podcast branding and their catchphrase « Friends and Enemies. » A collectible for Canadian Bitcoiners and podcast fans.
- Choose Your Cooling: Select from Basic Cooling, Noctua Cooling (whisper-quiet), Ice Cooler Tower, Noctua Cooler Tower, or Argon THRML at checkout. Each option is optimized for different noise and thermal performance targets.
- Solo Mining Direct to Wallet: No pool fees, no custodial middlemen. Point it at a solo pool, enter your Bitcoin address, and any block you find sends the full 3.125 BTC reward straight to your keys.
- Open-Source Hardware: Fully open-source design — hardware files, firmware, and schematics available on GitHub. You own every layer of this device.
- OSMU Donation: A portion of each sale supports Open Source Miners United, funding the ongoing development of open-source mining hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How is this different from a regular Bitaxe Gamma?
The mining hardware is identical — same BM1370 chip, same AxeOS firmware, same hashrate range. The difference is the custom engraving, podcast branding, choice of cooling configurations at checkout, and the fact that a portion of each sale supports OSMU. It is a limited-edition collaboration, not a different mining device.
Q: Can I power this with USB-C?
No. Like all single-chip Bitaxe models (Supra, Ultra, Gamma), power must come from a 5V DC barrel jack (5.5×2.1mm) with a 5V/6A power supply. The USB-C port is strictly for firmware flashing and serial console access.
Q: Which cooling option should I choose?
For desk use in a quiet environment, Noctua Cooling is the best choice — near-silent operation. For maximum overclocking headroom, the Ice Cooler Tower or Argon THRML provide the lowest ASIC temperatures. Basic Cooling works well at stock speeds in well-ventilated spaces.
Q: What are the realistic chances of mining a block?
At 1.0-1.2 TH/s, finding a block is still a lottery — the statistical expected time at current difficulty is measured in years. But solo miners have found blocks with single Bitaxe units. The Gamma’s higher hashrate roughly doubles your ticket count compared to a Supra. Every hash counts.
Q: Is this available in French?
The product page and D-Central’s support are available in both English and French. The custom engraving text (« Friends and Enemies ») is the podcast’s English catchphrase and is the same on all units.
