Installation Guide

Tools and Materials Needed:

  • Screwdriver
  • New Bitmain Xilinx 7007 Zync Control Board (Ctrl_C49)
  • SD card with specific firmware for your model

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Preparation
    • Power down the miner and unplug it from any power sources.
    • Wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent static damage.
  2. Remove the Top Cover
    • Unscrew and remove the top cover of your miner to expose the control board.
  3. Disconnect the Old Control Board
    • Carefully disconnect the 3x 18-pin signal cables, PSU power extension cable, voltage regulating cable, and 4x fan cables from the old control board.
  4. Remove the Old Control Board
    • Unscrew and remove the face plate on the miner.
    • Gently slide out the old control board.
  5. Install the New Control Board
    • Carefully slide the new Bitmain Xilinx 7007 Zync control board (Ctrl_C49) into place.
    • Secure the face plate back onto the miner.
  6. Reconnect the Cables
    • Reconnect the 3x 18-pin signal cables, PSU power extension cable, voltage regulating cable, and 4x fan cables to the new control board.
  7. Firmware Installation
    • Insert the SD card with the specific firmware for your model.
    • Power on the miner and wait for the firmware installation to complete.
    • Remove the SD card and reboot the miner.
