LARPer

LARP is an acronym that stands for “Live Action Role Play”. The main concept of real LARP is that you wear a costume and create a character in a fantasy world where other players have agreed upon predetermined rules for that world.

In the Bitcoin world, LARPers are people who create a fake persona with a usually anonymous social media account. In other words, pretending to be someone they’re not.

For example, someone who owns a lot of shitcoins can pretend to be a bitcoiner or a nocoiner or whatever because they feel like it.

This may be for protection purposes so that their own real identity is not compromised, but be careful not to follow GNs as they are often not what they appear to be.
