Description
Upgrade your Antminer’s cooling by swapping the stock 120mm fans for larger, quieter 140mm fans. This 2-pack of 3D-printed adapters bridges the size difference, letting 140mm fans mount directly onto 120mm fan slots. Larger fans move more air at lower RPMs — meaning lower temperatures and significantly less noise.
Why 140mm Fans?
A 140mm fan has 36% more blade area than a 120mm fan. At the same airflow volume, it spins slower and quieter. For home miners running 24/7, swapping to 140mm fans with these adapters can make the difference between tolerable and intolerable noise levels.

Note: 140mm replacement fans sold separately. You will also need to manage the fan connector and PWM signal for aftermarket fans (the stock Antminer fan connector is not standard).
Do I need any other parts for this mod?
You need two 140mm fans (one intake, one exhaust) and may need a fan connector adapter or PWM controller if your replacement fans do not use the Antminer’s proprietary 6-pin connector. Some home miners use standalone fan controllers with these adapters.
Will this work with the S19 or newer models?
The S19 and newer Antminer models use a different fan mounting configuration than the S9-era chassis. These adapters are designed specifically for the S9/L3+ generation of miners with single 120mm fans on each side.
How much quieter will my miner be?
Results vary by fan choice, but many home miners report a reduction from 75+ dB to under 55 dB when pairing these adapters with quality 140mm fans (like Noctua NF-A14) and an aftermarket fan controller. The lower RPM of the larger fan is what makes the difference.
