How to Download IP Reporter and Use it to Find IP

IP Reporter is a tool that helps you find the IP address of your miner, which can be particularly useful when the miner’s IP is set to DHCP mode. Follow these steps to download and use IP Reporter:

Download Method:

1. Visit the official Bitmain website at https://www.bitmain.com. Navigate to “Customer Support” and then “Firmware Download”.
2. On the left side of the “Firmware List”, select “Others”. Then, on the right side, select “IP Reporter”.
3. Alternatively, you can directly download the software from this link: https://file12.bitmain.com/shop-product/firmware/IP%20Reporter.zip

Notes:

• The default IP mode for new miners is DHCP, meaning there is no fixed IP. If your miner has a fixed IP, you can still use IP Reporter to confirm the IP.
• IP Reporter is compatible with Windows XP, Windows 7, and Windows 10. It is not compatible with other operating systems.
• For IP Reporter to work, the miner and the computer must be on the same network segment.

Precautions for Use:

• Before using IP Reporter, you must decompress the downloaded files. You can place the decompressed files in any folder.
• The miner must be operating normally.
• The computer and the miner should be on the same network.
• When opening IP Reporter for the first time, the software will request network permissions. Click “Allow Access” to proceed.

Instructions for Use:

1. Open IP Reporter and click “Start”.
2. Press the IP button on the miner for 1 second and then release it.
3. The miner’s IP will appear on your computer screen.
4. Click “OK” to close the pop-up window.
5. If you wish to continue, click “Skip”, and press the IP reporter button on the miner again.
6. To pause the software, click “Stop”.
