What hashboards are compatible?
The Slim case fits Antminer 19-series hashboards (S19, S19 Pro, S19j, S19j Pro, S19k Pro) and 21-series boards. Board physical dimensions are standardized within these series.
Do I need a Loki Kit?
A Loki Kit is recommended for the single-hashboard configuration with an APW3 PSU, as it provides the voltage regulation needed for running one board instead of three. Without a Loki Kit, you would need a PSU that supports the correct voltage for a single hashboard.
Can I use this purely as a space heater?
Yes. Every watt the hashboard consumes is converted to heat. In cold months, position the Slim case to direct warm exhaust air into your room. You are mining Bitcoin and heating your space with the same electricity.
How loud is it with quiet fans?
With aftermarket quiet fans, the Slim build runs at noise levels comparable to a desktop PC or quieter. Far below the 75+ dB of a stock Antminer. The exact noise level depends on which fans you choose.
