If your S9 firmware upgrade process has failed, please follow the steps below to restore and upgrade the firmware again:

  1. Abort the Upgrade: If you notice that the firmware upgrade process has failed, stop the upgrade immediately.
  2. Download Fix Upgrade Package: Visit our firmware page and download the “Package to Fix Upgrade Failure” located under the S9 tab.
  3. Reload the Package: Follow the standard procedure to reload the package. You can find instructions on how to reload firmware here.
  4. Download and Upgrade Firmware Again: After successfully reloading the fix upgrade package, download the latest firmware from our website and upgrade your miner again.
  5. Reset Miner: If you cannot find the IP address of your miner after updating the firmware, reset the miner. Instructions on how to reset your miner can be found here.
  6. Let the Miner Run: After resetting the miner, let it run for at least 20 minutes.
