If your S9 firmware upgrade process has failed, please follow the steps below to restore and upgrade the firmware again:
- Abort the Upgrade: If you notice that the firmware upgrade process has failed, stop the upgrade immediately.
- Download Fix Upgrade Package: Visit our firmware page and download the “Package to Fix Upgrade Failure” located under the S9 tab.
- Reload the Package: Follow the standard procedure to reload the package. You can find instructions on how to reload firmware here.
- Download and Upgrade Firmware Again: After successfully reloading the fix upgrade package, download the latest firmware from our website and upgrade your miner again.
- Reset Miner: If you cannot find the IP address of your miner after updating the firmware, reset the miner. Instructions on how to reset your miner can be found here.
- Let the Miner Run: After resetting the miner, let it run for at least 20 minutes.
