All our Space Heater editions come in Standard Cooling or Noctua Silent Cooling options. With Noctua fans: the S9 runs at ~45 dB, the S17 at 40-50 dB, the Slim at ~35 dB, and the S19 at ~40 dB. Standard cooling is louder but more affordable. These are not stock industrial miners — every unit is modded for residential use.
Every watt consumed becomes heat — that is thermodynamics. A 1,500W Space Heater produces exactly 5,120 BTU per hour, identical to a 1,500W traditional electric heater. The only difference is ours also mines Bitcoin.
You can, but most customers run them seasonally. In summer you can underclock to reduce heat output or simply turn it off. Some customers in cooler climates like northern Canada run them year-round in basements and garages.
ROI depends on your electricity rate and Bitcoin’s price. In Quebec at $0.065/kWh, a Space Heater S19 can offset 40-60% of its electricity cost through mining revenue during heating season. You were going to spend that money on heat anyway — now some of it comes back as Bitcoin.
The S9, S17, and Slim editions can run on 120V or 240V. The S19 edition performs best on a 240V circuit — if you do not already have one, a licensed electrician can install a NEMA 6-20 outlet in about an hour. All editions come with BraiinsOS+ firmware and Home Assistant integration for smart home control.
Absolutely. These are electric heaters — no combustion, no carbon monoxide, no gas lines. The electronics are enclosed and the fan-mod enclosures are designed for residential use. They are as safe as any electric space heater.
We recommend starting with a pool like Ocean or Braiins for reliable payouts. If you want to go solo, you can point your miner at a solo mining pool for the chance at a full block reward. Our setup guide covers both options.
