In response to the global climate crisis, two initiatives have been launched that focus on reducing emissions and mitigating the impacts of climate change. The World Bank’s Zero Routine Flaring Initiative seeks to eliminate routine flaring, a significant source of carbon dioxide emissions, by 2030 through an international collaboration between governments, oil and gas companies,
