Built by D-Central Technologies
The DCENT Suite: Open-Source Sovereignty Tools
D-Central builds toward an open and operator-controlled technology stack, with release status tracked project by project. This is the whole family in one place: what each tool is, what is already public, what remains in local development, and how the pieces are intended to fit together.
One Mission, Many Layers
D-Central are Bitcoin mining hackers. We are not Amazon, and we are not trying to be — we build hand-crafted, open-source tools for people who want to own their stack. Every DCENT project takes something that is usually rented, closed, or centralized and moves it back into your hands. None of it is disposable, and none of it is a black box. We stand on the shoulders of the open-source giants who came before us, and we say so on every page. DCENT is the prefix on D-Central’s open-source product family — DCENT_OS, DCENT_axe, DCENT_Pool, DCENT_Konduit, DCENT_Toolbox, DCENT_Voice, DCENT_Torrent — a product prefix, not an abbreviation of the company name.
The Projects
Eleven projects, one philosophy. Status labels are honest — source availability, install routes, hardware readiness, and platform support vary by project, and we say which is which.
DCENT_OS
GPL-3.0 source · guarded exact-lane artifacts
Bitcoin mining firmware for selected Bitmain Antminers. Only exact S9 XIL and S19j Pro XIL lanes have guarded artifacts; install evidence is incomplete and neither is production-ready.
DCENT_axe
Firmware live · boards in design · CERN-OHL-S + GPL-3.0
Open-hardware Bitcoin miner in the Bitaxe lineage, with an onboard LoRa mesh radio on every board. Firmware 0.3.0 already flashes six Bitaxe-class boards from the web flasher; DCENT boards are coming.
DCENT_Toolbox
Public · GPL-3.0
Field tools for miners — scan, audit, and tune your fleet yourself instead of trusting a vendor dashboard. Source is public on GitHub today.
DCENT_Raven
In design · source public · CERN-OHL-S + GPL-3.0
A LoRa mesh accessory that plugs into any Bitaxe’s accessory port and puts your miner on a Meshtastic mesh — off-grid telemetry and block-found alerts, no internet required. No boards built yet.
DCENT_ExpansionPack
Fab-ready design · source public · CERN-OHL-S + GPL-3.0
A small Wi-Fi bridge board for miners running DCENT_OS: scan a QR code and the miner is on your Wi-Fi — it never touches your password. v0.1 design is fab-ready; no boards manufactured yet.
Web Flasher
Live
A browser-based flasher for DCENT open-source miner firmware — DCENT_axe 0.3.0 for six Bitaxe-class boards flashes from the browser today, no toolchain to install.
DCENT_Voice
Source live · public beta · MIT
Open-source, local-first dictation for Windows and Linux, with macOS in preview. CPU Parakeet is the default, Faster Whisper is the offline fallback, local writing polish needs no LLM, and optional cloud providers stay behind explicit consent. Source on GitHub.
DCENT_Torrent
Public beta · GPL-3.0
A modern, sovereign BitTorrent client — 2026 quality-of-life on the open BitTorrent stack, for censorship-resistant, peer-to-peer distribution. Source lands on GitHub once polishing is done.
DCENT_Konduit
Beta · AGPL-3.0
An agentic harness for electrical engineering. Coding agents got the whole toolbox; hardware got a chat window. Konduit gives an AI real hands inside KiCad — schematic, placement, routing, ERC/DRC and the fabrication package.
DCENT_Pool
Deploying · GPL-3.0 licensed · complete source release in preparation
D-Central calls this design an MMORPP: a solo-mining pool whose accepted work can drive a persistent fictional guild world. Bitcoin payouts remain conditional on valid active work, network acceptance, the published coinbase policy, and maturity. The GitHub destination stays available to follow the release, while the complete source package is prepared locally and the hosted realm remains not mining-ready.
DCENT_ADE
Alpha · no public release yet
The Sovereign Agentic Development Environment. Real CLI coding agents in tiled terminal panes, a coordination layer, mission control with review gates, and a native permission boundary between the model’s intention and your machine’s authority. Local-first, and free with no paid tier planned.
The Sovereign Stack
Each project owns a different layer of the thing you are trying to take back. Together with Bitcoin, Nostr, and mesh, they form a stack with no single point of control.
| Layer | Project | What you own |
|---|---|---|
| Firmware | DCENT_OS | GPL-3.0 firmware components, exact-lane evidence and no mandatory fee — the optional donation ships on at 2% and one click sets it to 0%; no production-release claim. |
| Hardware | DCENT_axe | An open miner board that is also a mesh relay. |
| Mesh / comms | DCENT_Raven | Your miner’s telemetry over LoRa mesh — no ISP in the loop. |
| Network | DCENT_ExpansionPack | How your miner joins the network — an open bridge, not a closed travel router. |
| Tooling | DCENT_Toolbox | The tools to scan, audit, and tune your fleet yourself. |
| Dictation / AI input | DCENT_Voice | Your voice and your words, transcribed on your own machine. |
| Design / EDA | DCENT_Konduit | The tooling that designs the hardware — an open agentic harness for KiCad, not a five-figure seat. |
| Distribution | DCENT_Torrent | How your files and software move — peer-to-peer, no gatekeeper. |
| Pool / coordination | DCENT_Pool | Guild solo mining — coordination and camaraderie without a custodial pool operator. |
| Development | DCENT_ADE | The environment your software gets built in — agent fleets you run, review and audit on your own machine, not a rented cloud IDE. |
See where these sit next to money, identity, and comms in the pleb’s sovereign stack and the sovereign AI hub.
Open by Default
Every repository publishes its own license and status. DCENT_Voice is MIT-licensed; DCENT_OS and much of the software stack use GPL-family licenses; open-hardware boards add CERN-OHL-S. These are practical freedoms: read the code, audit it, build it, fork it, and keep running it. Beta still means beta, and artifact, install, and hardware readiness are labelled per project.
- GitHub: github.com/DCentralTech — DCENT_OS, DCENT_Toolbox, DCENT_Raven, DCENT_ExpansionPack, DCENT_Pool and DCENT_Konduit retain their repository destinations. Availability and completeness vary by project; the complete DCENT_Pool source release is still being prepared locally, and entries without a public release remain labelled accordingly.
- Registry: our firmware and hardware are catalogued in the open-source mining registry alongside the projects we build on.
- Honest status: beta means beta. Do not run this on revenue-critical hardware you cannot afford to recover.
- Get involved: join the Discord to follow every project and help test.
