Soumettre une demande de réparation or email [email protected] with your miner model, symptoms, and photos if available. We will get back to you within 24 hours with next steps.

We do not guess. Every ASIC miner repair at D-Central follows a rigorous, systematic process designed to identify every fault, fix it properly, and verify the repair under real-world operating conditions. Here is exactly what happens when your miner arrives at our facility.
Step 1: Submit Your Repair Request
Remplissez notre formulaire de réparation or email [email protected] with your miner model, serial number, symptoms you have observed, and any photos of visible damage. We will confirm receipt and send you our shipping address within 24 hours.
Step 2: Ship Your Miner to Our Facility
Pack your miner securely — original packaging is ideal, but any well-padded box will work. Remove all accessories (PSU, cables, fans if detachable) unless they are part of the issue. Ship to our repair facility at:
D-Central Technologies
4479 Desserte Nord Autoroute 440
Laval, QC H7P 6E2
Canada
Step 3: Intake and Diagnostics (24-48 Hours)
When your miner arrives, we log it into our repair tracking system, photograph its condition, and begin automated diagnostics. We test every hash board individually, check all voltage domains, inspect the control board, verify the PSU output, and run thermal imaging to identify hot spots. Within 24 to 48 hours, we know exactly what is wrong.
Step 4: Detailed Repair Quote
We send you a comprehensive diagnostic report with a breakdown of every fault found, the repair work required, and a firm price quote. No hidden fees, no surprises. You approve the quote before we touch a soldering iron.
Step 5: Repair (3-7 Business Days)
Our technicians perform the repair — BGA rework, chip replacement, trace repair, component swaps, firmware recovery, whatever the board needs. We use genuine replacement components sourced from verified suppliers and repair to factory specifications.
Step 6: Quality Testing Under Load
Every repaired unit goes through a full burn-in test. We run the miner at rated hash rate for a sustained period, monitor temperatures across all chips, verify power consumption, and confirm stable operation. We do not ship a miner until it passes our quality benchmarks.
Step 7: Secure Packaging and Return Shipping
Your miner is carefully packaged, and we ship it back to you with a detailed report of the work performed, test results, and your repair warranty documentation. You plug it in, point it at your pool, and you are back to hashing.
ASIC miners fail in predictable ways. After repairing over 2,500 units, we have seen every failure mode there is — and developed proven repair procedures for each one. Here is a breakdown of the most common repair types we handle.
Réparation de hashboards
Hash board failures are the most common reason miners end up on our bench. A single dead ASIC chip can knock out an entire hash chain, cutting your hash rate by a third or more. Common hash board issues include:
- Dead ASIC chips — failed from thermal stress, voltage spikes, or manufacturing defects. We identify the specific chip using domain-by-domain voltage testing and replace it with a tested, working component.
- Delaminated solder balls (BGA failures) — the solder joints between the ASIC chip and the PCB crack from repeated thermal cycling. We reball or replace the affected chip using proper BGA rework equipment.
- Blown MOSFETs and voltage regulators — power delivery components that fail from overcurrent or voltage spikes. We replace the failed components and test the entire voltage rail.
- Broken PCB traces — physical damage to the copper traces on the board, often from improper handling or corrosion. We repair traces using micro-soldering techniques.
- Temperature sensor failures — faulty temperature readings that cause the miner to throttle or shut down. We replace the sensor and recalibrate.
Réparation de carte de contrôle
The control board is the brain of your miner — it runs the firmware, communicates with the hash boards, and connects to your network. When it fails, the entire miner goes down. Common control board issues:
- Firmware corruption — failed updates, power loss during flashing, or malicious firmware (yes, ASIC viruses are real). We reflash clean, verified firmware from the manufacturer.
- SD card failures — the onboard storage degrades over time, causing boot failures and intermittent crashes. We replace the SD card and restore the firmware.
- Ethernet port failures — physical damage or blown transceiver chips that prevent network connectivity. We replace the Ethernet jack or the associated controller IC.
- NAND flash corruption — on miners without SD cards, the onboard flash memory can degrade. We reflash or replace the NAND chip.
Réparation d’alimentation (PSU)
ASIC power supplies push enormous amounts of current and they take a beating. We repair the most common PSU models used in Bitcoin mining:
- APW3 / APW7 — used in S9, S15, T15, and older Antminer models. Common failures include blown capacitors, failed rectifier bridges, and burnt connectors.
- APW9 / APW9+ — used in S17 and T17 series. Notorious for fan controller failures and capacitor degradation.
- APW12 — used in S19 series. More reliable overall but still susceptible to capacitor and MOSFET failures under prolonged heavy load.
- Whatsminer PSUs (P21 series) — integrated PSU designs with unique failure modes. We diagnose and repair at the component level.
Fans are the most mechanically stressed component in any ASIC miner. Bearings wear out, blades crack, and connectors corrode. A failed fan does not just reduce cooling — it can trigger thermal shutdowns that take the entire miner offline. We replace fans with OEM-quality units rated for the correct airflow and static pressure, and we test the fan controller to ensure proper speed regulation.
Récupération de firmware et suppression de virus
ASIC malware is a real and growing threat. Malicious firmware can redirect your hash rate to an attacker’s pool, lock you out of the web interface, or brick the miner entirely. We perform clean firmware recovery — wiping the infected firmware, reflashing from verified manufacturer sources, and securing the device against reinfection. We also handle bricked miners from failed firmware updates and SD card corruption.
Réparation de dommages par refroidissement par immersion
Immersion-cooled miners present unique repair challenges. Dielectric fluid residue, thermal compound compatibility issues, and connector corrosion all require specialized cleaning and repair procedures. We have experience repairing miners that have been through immersion setups and can diagnose issues specific to this cooling method.
We believe in pricing transparency. Too many ASIC repair shops hide behind « call for a quote » and hit you with surprise charges. Here is what typical ASIC miner repairs cost at D-Central in Canada. These are real price ranges based on thousands of repairs — your final quote depends on the specific model and extent of damage, and we always confirm before proceeding.

You have options when it comes to ASIC repair. You can send your board overseas and wait months. You can ship it to a faceless depot that treats your S19 like a ticket number. Or you can send it to a team that has been elbow-deep in ASIC hardware since 2016, knows these machines inside and out, and treats every repair like their own miner is on the line.
Here is why 2,500+ miners have come through our lab — and why their owners keep coming back:
- Since 2016 — 8+ years of ASIC repair experience. We have been repairing ASIC miners since the S7 days. We have seen every generation, every failure mode, and every weird edge case. This is not a side hustle for us — it is what we do.
- 2,500+ miners repaired with a 95%+ success rate. Most boards that come through our door leave hashing at full rated performance. We do not give up on boards that other shops call « unrepairable. »
- 65+ model-specific repair pages. We have published dedicated repair pages for every major ASIC miner model — with model-specific diagnostics, common failure patterns, and technical details. No other repair service in Canada comes close to this level of documentation.
- Retail-focused, miner-first mentality. We are not chasing institutional contracts. We serve home miners, small operations, and individual Bitcoiners. Every repair gets the same level of care whether it is a single S9 or a rack of S21s.
- Canadian quality and accountability. We are a registered Canadian business at 1325 Rue Bergar, Laval, QC H7L 4Z7. You know where we are, you know who we are, and we stand behind our work.
- Full diagnostic report with every repair. We do not just fix the problem — we tell you exactly what was wrong, what we did, and what to watch for in the future. Knowledge is part of the service.
- Warranty on repair work. We offer a 7-day DOA warranty on fixed parts and a 3-month warranty on full unit repairs. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, we fix it at no additional charge.
- We repair what others will not. Innosilicon boards, DragonMint T1s, water-damaged units, malware-infected miners — we take on the repairs that other shops turn away.
- We are miners ourselves. D-Central operates its own mining infrastructure. We understand the urgency of downtime because we live it. Every day your miner is offline is hash rate that the network — and you — are missing.

How long does an ASIC repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 5 to 15 business days from the time we receive your unit. Diagnostics take 24-48 hours, and the actual repair typically takes 3-7 business days depending on the complexity and parts availability. Complex multi-board rebuilds or units requiring rare components may take longer. We provide a specific timeline estimate with your repair quote so you know exactly when to expect your miner back.
How much does ASIC miner repair cost in Canada?
Repair costs depend on the model and the nature of the damage. Our diagnostic fee starts at $65 CAD ($50 USD) for a full unit assessment, and this fee is applied toward your repair cost if you proceed. Hash board repairs range from $95 to $195 CAD depending on the complexity level — from basic MOSFET swaps to advanced BGA rework. PSU repairs run $100-$300, and control board repairs $100-$250. We always provide a detailed quote before starting any repair work, and you are never obligated to proceed. See our full pricing table above for detailed breakdowns.
Do you repair miners from all manufacturers?
Yes. We repair Bitmain Antminers (our most common), MicroBT Whatsminers, Innosilicon, Canaan AvalonMiners, Halong DragonMint, IceRiver, and other ASIC platforms. If it is a SHA-256, Scrypt, or other algorithm ASIC miner, we can almost certainly repair it. We have model-specific repair pages for 65+ models, and if your model is not listed, contact us — we have likely repaired it before.
How do I ship my miner to D-Central?
Pack your miner securely in its original box or a well-padded shipping container. We recommend removing detachable components (PSU, cables, fans) unless they are part of the issue you are reporting. Wrap each hash board individually if you are sending loose boards. Ship to: D-Central Technologies, 4479 Desserte Nord Autoroute 440, Laval, QC H7P 6E2, Canada. We accept shipments from Canada, the United States, and internationally. Use a tracked shipping service and insure your package — miners are valuable hardware.
Is there a warranty on repairs?
Yes. We offer a 7-day DOA (Dead on Arrival) warranty on fixed parts and a 3-month warranty on full unit repairs. If the same issue recurs within the warranty period, we repair it at no additional charge. Our warranty covers the specific work we performed — it does not cover new, unrelated failures or damage from improper use after repair.
Can you repair water or immersion-damaged miners?
Yes. We have experience repairing miners that have been through immersion cooling setups or have suffered water damage. Immersion-cooled units require specialized cleaning to remove dielectric fluid residue before we can diagnose and repair them. Water-damaged units may have corrosion, shorted components, or degraded connectors that require extensive board-level work. We assess the damage during diagnostics and give you an honest evaluation of whether the repair is cost-effective.
Do you offer ASIC repair for miners shipped from the United States?
Absolutely. We receive miners from across Canada, the United States, and internationally. You ship the unit to our Laval, QC facility, and we ship it back when the repair is complete. For international shipments, please be aware of customs declarations and any applicable duties — we can advise on the best way to handle cross-border shipping for ASIC hardware.
What if my miner is not worth repairing?
Sometimes the cost of repair exceeds the value of the miner — we are always honest about this. If diagnostics reveal that a board is unrecoverable or the repair cost does not make financial sense, we tell you upfront. You only pay the diagnostic fee. You then have the option to have the unit returned, surrender it for spare parts (some miners have valuable components even when the board is dead), or apply a credit toward a refurbished unit or new hardware from our shop.
Do you sell replacement parts?
Yes. We stock hash boards, control boards, fans, PSUs, and individual components for popular ASIC models. If you are comfortable doing your own repairs, you can purchase parts directly from our parts catalog. We also sell complete replacement hash boards for miners where chip-level repair is not cost-effective. Contact us for specific part availability — our inventory changes frequently as we process repairs and source components.
Can I learn to repair ASICs myself?
Yes — and we encourage it. D-Central offers ASIC repair training both in-person at our Laval facility and remotely via 1-on-1 sessions. You will learn diagnostics, chip-level soldering, BGA rework, and board-level troubleshooting from the same technicians who have repaired 2,500+ miners. We also publish free repair guides and educational content on our blog. The more miners who can fix their own hardware, the more decentralized and resilient the Bitcoin network becomes.
What is D-Central’s repair facility address?
Our repair intake facility is at 4479 Desserte Nord Autoroute 440, Laval, QC H7P 6E2, Canada. Our main business office is at 1325 Rue Bergar, Laval, QC H7L 4Z7, Canada. Phone: 1-855-753-9997. You can ship your miner to the repair intake address, or contact us to arrange a local drop-off if you are in the Montreal / Laval area.
Getting your miner repaired is step one. Here is how D-Central can help you maximize the value of your hardware after it leaves our bench:
- Convert it to a Bitcoin Space Heater. Your repaired Antminer can become a dual-purpose machine — mining Bitcoin while heating your home. Our Bitcoin Space Heater line turns S9s, S17s, and S19s into residential-ready heating units with quiet fans and custom enclosures. Mine sats while you stay warm.
- Host it at our Quebec facility. If you cannot run a full-size ASIC at home, our mining hosting service in Quebec offers competitive hydro rates, 24/7 monitoring, and the same team that repaired your unit maintaining it. Ship your repaired miner directly to hosting.
- Explore open-source solo mining. Tired of noisy ASICs altogether? The Bitaxe is a silent, 12W open-source solo miner that runs on your desk. No fans to replace, no hash boards to repair. D-Central is a pioneer in the Bitaxe ecosystem and stocks every model and accessory.
- Buy replacement parts for future repairs. Stock up on spare hash boards, fans, PSUs, and components from our parts catalog so you are prepared next time something fails.
- Learn to repair it yourself next time. Our ASIC repair training program teaches you the skills to diagnose and fix your own hardware. Stop sending boards away — become the repair shop.
Prêt à remettre votre mineur en ligne?
That dead miner in your closet probably just needs a few chips replaced. Do not throw it away — let us bring it back to full hash rate. Every miner we repair is another node of decentralization that stays on the network instead of ending up in a landfill.
