Electrical and physical boundary
The miner requires 11.6–13 V DC through seven PCIe connectors. Bitmain’s roster supports APW3, APW5, and APW7. This is device-side DC, not facility mains. A qualified person must verify the exact installed PSU label, facility voltage/frequency/current, cord, circuit, protection, connectors, grounding, and disconnect.

Official update_1000 firmware procedure
Bitmain’s B3 procedure first installs ANTMINER-B3-201805232020-750M.tar.gz to fix fan-speed display, then update_1000.tar.gz to improve B3 hashrate. It does not publish an exact post-upgrade hashrate, power, efficiency, or tolerance matrix. Do not power off or interact with the miner during either upgrade. Bitmain states each normally takes about five minutes; if it exceeds ten minutes, abort and retry. No unsupported post-upgrade numerical lane is asserted.
