Antminer G2 record: technical evidence pending

Bitmain’s official end-of-service notice confirms an Antminer G2 identity and states that manufacturer service ended on May 10, 2020. This record is retained so owners can locate that lifecycle information.

Evidence boundary

No current official G2 manual, product specification, certification, or firmware artifact was located. The hardware class, algorithm, coin support, hashrate, power, efficiency, acoustic output, physical dimensions, temperature limits, network interface, PSU, facility input, connector, operating modes, and present-day mineability are therefore unresolved.

Previously associated Etchash, Ethereum Classic, performance, home-use, heat-reuse, profitability, and electrical claims are withheld. Historical third-party descriptions are not sufficient to establish a safe installation or a current mining configuration.

Safe ownership and service steps

Photograph the complete chassis and every nameplate, serial prefix, board/controller identifier, GPU or hash-board marking, connector, and PSU label. Use those exact identifiers when requesting archival documentation. Do not infer voltage, circuit, firmware, parts compatibility, or algorithm support from another Antminer model. No firmware download is linked because no exact official G2 artifact was found; do not cross-flash firmware from another family.
