VOLCMINER D1 revision guide
The manufacturer separates D1 silver and D1 black in technical support. Its brochure also shows two distinct D1 hardware lanes. This page does not flatten them into one scalar specification.
Exact brochure lanes
| Revision identity | Hashrate | Consumption | OEM efficiency label | Size | Net weight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| D1 silver evidence lane | 16 GH/s | 3725 W ±5% | 229 J/G | 335 × 205 × 290 mm | 17.5 kg |
| D1 black evidence lane | 18.5 GH/s | 4250 W ±5% | 229/253 J/G | 335 × 220 × 325 mm | 20.8 kg |
These are separate manufacturer rows. The brochure does not pair the black revision’s two efficiency labels with separate operating modes, so no mode pairing or normalized single efficiency is inferred.
Algorithm and currency evidence
The brochure labels both rows Scrypt and lists LTC, DOGE, BEL, LKY and PEP. These labels remain scoped to the brochure rows and do not prove that an ambiguously labeled production record is either revision.
Identity before firmware
The official technical-support selector provides separate D1(silver) and D1(black) lanes. Select firmware only after matching the enclosure and exact revision label. Never cross-flash by the shared D1 name. The manufacturer says firmware does not increase hashrate, does not recommend updating a normally operating unit, and warns against reducing automatic fan speed because overheating may result.

Unresolved installation fields
The cited brochure does not publish revision-specific voltage, frequency, phase, current, connector, cord, protection, conductor, temperature or humidity boundaries. Confirm these from the exact unit nameplate and revision-specific manual before installation. Noise is not encoded as an exact scalar because the FAQ describes D1 only approximately and does not distinguish silver from black.
