Goldshell KD5

Goldshell’s official firmware repository identifies KD5 in its KDA Miner group. This page retains that exact manufacturer and model identity while withholding specifications that are not supported by a coherent exact-model primary document.

Evidence status

The durable manufacturer evidence establishes KD5 identity and firmware routing. The current support catalog exposes this legacy model primarily through images and shared tables; the audited text does not provide a coherent, labeled KD5 performance and installation matrix. Stored scalar values and ranges remain partial evidence and are not promoted into exact endpoints or schema.

KDA is retained only as the manufacturer’s firmware-group identity. Exact algorithm spelling and coin assignments are cleared from taxonomy, metadata, schema, and REST until exact-model evidence supports them. Manufacturer identity remains Goldshell.

Exact-model firmware

The official KDA-Miner/Goldshell-KD5/ directory contains nine exact artifacts: firmware-Goldshell-KD5-2.0.1.cpb, 2.0.2, 2.0.3, 2.1.0, 2.1.5, 2.1.6, 2.2.0, 2.2.1, and 2.2.3. Confirm the nameplate says KD5 before selecting a file. KD5 Pro and later models are not firmware substitutes.

Goldshell advises that an upgrade is unnecessary when operation is normal. Once an upgrade begins, do not turn off power and do not operate the miner.

Installation boundary

No exact-model hashrate, power, efficiency, voltage, frequency, phase, current, PSU, cord, connector, protection, dimensions, weight, noise, ambient range, humidity, network, cooling, fan, board, chip, controller, release, or commercial fact is published. A stored range, arithmetic result, catalog image alignment, or neighboring model must not be used as an installation limit.

Verify the exact nameplate and obtain exact-model electrical documentation before power or service work. KD5 Pro, KD6, and other products remain separate identities; their firmware, modes, specifications, and parts are not imported.

Diagnosis and repair

Record the exact model label, active firmware, symptoms, and logs before changing configuration. No tuning, residential-use, heat, profitability, parts-compatibility, or interchangeability claim is made.
