MicroBT WhatsMiner M73

Manufacturer-sourced M73 specifications: 470-526 TH/s, 14.5 J/T, 7,200 W normal and 10,000 W high-performance hydro modes.

Hashrate 470-526 TH/s
Efficiency

Quick answer

The MicroBT WhatsMiner M73 is a Bitcoin miner rated about 470-526 TH/s (about 14.5 J/TH).

Latest Generation Hardware

This is a newer generation of mining hardware using recent ASIC chip technology. Compare efficiency, hashrate, and power draw against older generations before choosing a deployment plan.

Efficiency

Lower J/TH means lower electricity cost per unit of hashrate. Compare efficiency alongside purchase cost, noise, voltage, firmware support, and current network difficulty.

The current manufacturer manual defines the hydro-cooled WhatsMiner M73 family at 470-526 TH/s +/-10% and 14.5 J/T +/-5%. It publishes two discrete operating modes: 7,200 W +/-10% in normal mode and 10,000 W +/-10% in high-performance mode. These modes are not presented as one continuous power range.

Electrical and liquid-cooling requirements

The manual specifies AC 380-480 V input and a custom power connection rated at 16 A or higher. It does not state the phase or conductor arrangement, so confirm the exact unit nameplate and installation manual. Cooling requirements are at least 10 L/min flow +/-10%, no more than 400 kPa pressure, approximately 1 L of coolant per server, and outlet water up to 70 C.

Normal-mode inlet water is 25-55 C; high-performance mode is 25-45 C, with +/-2 C control. The manual calls for pure or distilled water with the dedicated inhibitor and antifreeze selected for the installation’s freezing point, at pH 7-8.7. Working humidity is 5-85%, storage 5-95%, and long-term storage 30-69%, all non-condensing. Storage and transport temperature is -40 C to 70 C.

Physical record and current shop SKU

The manual lists 663 x 482.6 x 86 mm including the handle, 29.5 kg net, 32 kg gross, and Ethernet. It does not publish a noise rating, PSU model, ASIC details, control-board platform, or release date.

Current official-shop lane, reviewed August 27, 2026: the manufacturer’s selected listing shows 512 TH/s, 14.5 J/T, and 7,424 W. It separately displays 27.5 kg net, 30 kg gross, 86 x 483 x 663 mm, and three-wire-plus-ground wording. Those shop details remain attached to that dated SKU record and do not replace the current manual’s physical or electrical fields.

Firmware and recovery boundary

This model and cooling class do not identify its firmware or recovery media. Record the raw reported platform, complete displayed type, installed version, cooling class, and symptom first. If any record conflicts or is unavailable, do not select a package. Public M7x recovery scope is not established here; do not infer recovery media from a model name, reported family, or unified updater coverage.
