Goldshell XT-BOX official specifications and PSU boundary

The exact XT-BOX is a standalone Goldshell BOX-series miner for SHA-3X and Tari (XTM). It is distinct from the XT Card, which is a BYTE-only swappable component and cannot operate alone.

Official performance

Goldshell publishes 580 GH/s ±5%, 400 W ±5%, and 0.69 J/GH. Direct arithmetic gives approximately 0.6897 J/GH, consistent with the OEM rating. Native J/GH is used; the former J/TH normalization is removed.

Physical and environmental specification

The miner measures 150 × 198 × 96 mm and weighs 2.43 kg. Goldshell lists fan speed of 4,500 rpm, an acoustic ceiling of ≤35 dB, Wi-Fi support, and a “Dual-Mode” connection label that is not expanded into unsupported interface claims. Relative humidity is ≤65%.

The specification table says 0–35°C, while safety prose instructs 10–35°C. This reference uses the conservative 10–35°C intersection and preserves the table’s lower bound as a source conflict.

PSU and facility boundary

The XT-BOX is sold with or without a 1,500 W PSU. Goldshell says BOX miners without “PLUS” require a separately provided PSU and setup requires PSU 6-pin leads. The product table’s 110–240 VAC and 10 A cable labels therefore describe the optional PSU/facility side, not proof that the miner chassis directly accepts AC. Miner-side DC voltage, current, pinout, cord region, plug, grounding, power factor, and circuit protection are not published. Verify the exact shipped PSU and nameplate.

Firmware and economics

Goldshell’s repository contains BYTE firmware supporting an XTM subcard but no exact XT-BOX artifact. BYTE firmware must not be installed on XT-BOX without exact manufacturer direction. Goldshell currently identifies the product with XTM, but D-Central does not expose trustworthy Tari network economics operands here; profitability, BTU, home score, solo mining, generic heating, repair, and parts claims are withheld.
