Description
Bitaxe Minimalist Stand
Not every miner needs an enclosure. Some just need a solid place to sit. The Bitaxe Minimalist Stand strips it down to the essentials — a clean, open-frame stand that holds your Bitaxe upright with zero airflow restriction. No panels, no mesh, no fuss. Just your board, your heatsink, and unobstructed air from every direction. 3D printed by D-Central in Canada.
If your Bitaxe lives on a desk, shelf, or workbench and you want maximum cooling with minimum footprint, this is the stand for it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between the Minimalist Stand and the Mesh Standing Case?
The Mesh Standing Case is a full enclosure with a mesh back panel — it wraps around your Bitaxe for physical protection while still allowing airflow through the mesh. The Minimalist Stand is an open-frame cradle — no panels, no enclosure, just a stand that holds your Bitaxe upright. Choose the Minimalist Stand for maximum airflow and simplicity; choose the Mesh Standing Case for more physical protection.
Is the open design safe for the board?
For a desk or shelf environment, absolutely. The Bitaxe PCB is designed to operate exposed — that’s how the open-source hardware community runs them. The Minimalist Stand keeps your board off the surface and upright, which actually improves natural convection compared to laying it flat. Just keep it away from conductive debris, liquids, and curious pets.
Does this work with all heatsink types?
Yes. The stand accommodates the Bitaxe board itself — whatever heatsink you mount on top (stock, Argon THRML, Ice Cooler Tower, Modern Heatsink, or Premium Heatsink) won’t interfere with the stand. The open design means there’s no height restriction.
What power supply do I need for my Bitaxe?
The Bitaxe uses a 5V 2.1mm barrel jack (NOT USB-C). You need a 5V DC power supply rated at minimum 6A (30W+). The Minimalist Stand leaves the barrel jack fully exposed and accessible.
Built by the Mining Hackers
D-Central has been designing Bitaxe accessories since the beginning of the ecosystem — we manufactured the original Bitaxe Mesh Stand, the first purpose-built Bitaxe enclosure ever made. The Minimalist Stand carries that same design philosophy: functional, purposeful, no fluff. 3D printed in Canada by a team that understands exactly what miners need. Every hash counts.
