Evidence-controlled Antminer E3 reference: Bitmain publishes one exact E3 specification. It is an Ethash miner associated in Bitmain’s current algorithm table with Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Callisto (CLO). Performance is stated in native MH/s and J/MH units.
| Hashrate | Frequency | Power consumption | Efficiency |
|---|---|---|---|
| 191 MH/s | 1600M | 800 W ±10% | 4.4 J/MH ±10% |
The older 180 MH/s and 190 MH/s catalog labels are not separate manufacturer-supported bins. This canonical uses Bitmain’s exact 191 MH/s specification.
Electrical boundary
The E3 requires 11.6–13.0 V DC through seven PCIe power connectors. Bitmain’s current compatibility roster supports APW3-series, APW5, and APW7 power supplies. This is the miner’s DC input boundary, not a facility-mains specification. A qualified person must verify the selected PSU’s exact revision and nameplate, facility supply, circuit protection, conductors, connectors, grounding, and disconnect before energizing it.

Firmware, diagnostics, and end of service
- Select E3 and the exact revision in Bitmain’s firmware selector. Do not cross-flash another model or control-board image.
- Open Bitmain’s E3 support page.
- Use Bitmain’s general ANTMINER diagnostic workflow.
- Review Bitmain’s EOS list: E3 reached end of service on June 9, 2020.
- Organize symptoms and logs; request repair triage; open the E3 service router.
No facility-mains, memory or DAG-capacity, architecture, economics, residential-use, heat-use, tuning, compatibility, or parts-interchangeability claim is asserted. Primary source: Bitmain E3 Specifications. Reviewed August 28, 2026.
