This printed duct adapter is listed for dual 120mm fan mounting and a nominal 6-inch duct connection. Before ordering, confirm the exact mounting-hole spacing, spacing between fan centers, actual collar diameters and clearance for your miner and duct. A shared fan-size label alone does not establish fit across brands or models.

Compatibility

Confirm the miner model, mounting-hole pattern, spacing between the two fan centers, collar inner and outer diameters, and nearby cable or housing clearance before ordering. Use photos with a ruler to check both the miner mounting face and the intended duct or fitting. A nominal 120mm fan size or 6-inch duct label is not a measured fit confirmation.

Will 6-inch ducting restrict airflow too much?

For miners with dual 120mm fans (like the S9 or L3+), a 6-inch duct provides adequate airflow. These older models push less air volume than newer S19/S21 machines. For higher-airflow models, consider an 8-inch shroud.

Can I use this on the intake side too?

Yes. You can install shrouds on both the intake and exhaust sides to create a fully ducted setup. This allows you to pull cool air from outside and exhaust hot air where you want it — the ideal home mining installation.

Do I need to remove the stock fans?

No. The shroud mounts over the existing 120mm fans using the standard fan screw holes. Your stock fans remain in place and blow through the shroud into the duct.
