DC is not mains: 11.6–13.0 V is the miner input from its PSU, not an AC branch-circuit rating. Bitmain’s compatibility roster lists APW3-series, APW5, and APW7 supplies for L3+, but the exact PSU nameplate determines its AC requirements. APW3+ guidance specifies 220 V operation, at least 205 V starting voltage, and a C13 cord rated at least 10 A and no longer than 1.5 m. APW5 guidance permits one L3+ at 110 V with at least 100 V starting voltage. The cord is not included in either guide.

Have a qualified person verify the exact PSU, mains supply, circuit capacity, protection, conductors, connector, cord, and grounding. Bitmain recommends one PSU per miner. Never power one hashboard from more than one PSU.

Firmware, controller, and repair

  1. Photograph the miner, control-board, hashboard, PSU, and connector labels; record every revision and the installed version.
  2. Select L3+ and the matching control-board revision in Bitmain’s firmware selector. Do not use an L3++ or merely similar package.
  3. Read the security-firmware boundary: signed security firmware disables SSH and cannot be downgraded to earlier unsigned firmware.
  4. For boot, IP, interrupted-upgrade, missing-board, fan, or upgrade faults, follow the official L3+ control-board workflow.
  5. For low hashrate or a missing chain, use Bitmain’s L3+ isolation procedure.

Old and new L3+ hashboard assemblies have documented PCBA and heatsink differences. Identify the installed revision in the repair ticket; appearance or model family does not establish interchangeability. Request Antminer L3 repair diagnosis.
