Antminer L3 family owner hub: L3+ and L3++ evidence boundaries

Antminer L3 family identification: L3+ and L3++ are separate Scrypt models. Confirm the complete nameplate suffix before choosing specifications, firmware, a control-board procedure, PSU assumptions, or repair parts.

Do not use the existing 600 MH/s L3+ or 596 MH/s L3++ records as specification sources. Exact primary Bitmain evidence reviewed for this family does not establish the circulated 600 MH/s / 850 W / 1.42 J/MH or 596 MH/s / approximately 1,050 W / 1.76 J/MH triples. These are not added to either canonical matrix. Route a physical unit by its exact nameplate; do not infer an OEM bin from an observed tuned hashrate.

Electrical and PSU preflight

  1. Photograph the miner, control-board, hashboard, PSU, connector, and cord labels. Record the full model suffix and every revision.
  2. Treat 11.6–13.0 V in the miner specification as DC input from the PSU, not AC mains.
  3. Bitmain’s roster lists APW3-series, APW5, and APW7 for L3+ and L3++, but verify the exact installed PSU nameplate. A roster check does not establish revision, connector, cord, or cross-model interchangeability.
  4. For APW3+, Bitmain specifies 220 V operation, at least 205 V starting voltage, and a C13 cord rated at least 10 A and no longer than 1.5 m. For APW5 with one L3+, it permits 110 V with at least 100 V starting voltage. The guides say the cord is not included.
  5. Have a qualified person verify supply voltage, circuit capacity, protection, conductors, connectors, cord, disconnecting means, and grounding before energizing.
  6. Bitmain recommends one PSU per miner. Different PSUs may feed separate hashboards, but one hashboard must never be connected to multiple PSUs.

Known boundaries: no unsupported 600 or 596 MH/s lane, generic tuning range, profitability or other economics, heat-reuse or residential-suitability recommendation, chip model, fabrication process, controller identity, or cross-model firmware, control-board, hashboard, PSU, connector, fan, or parts compatibility is asserted.
