Buying and selling guide

D-Central · Keep good hardware mining

How D-Central Marketplace works

Buy and sell Bitcoin mining hardware peer to peer: understand listing fees, useful evidence and the role of D-Central services.

Browse listings Prepare my listing

A listing is the seller’s offer. The buyer and seller agree the hardware price, payment, delivery and remedies directly. A listing does not mean D-Central inspected the equipment.

What listing fees pay for

Listing fees pay for marketplace visibility. They do not pay for the hardware or an inspection.

  • Read the current offer before publishing: free-listing eligibility, additional listings and promotion are separate choices.
  • Sponsored positions are labelled and rotate among eligible listings. They do not ensure a fixed rank, a number of views or a sale.
  • This flow has no automatic renewal or commission on the hardware price. Any D-Central services have their own quote.

From a listing to an agreement

Open the listing and use the contact flow after signing in and confirming your email. Ask your questions before agreeing the hardware payment with the seller.

  • Ask for the model, revision, declared condition, known repairs and current photos of the actual unit. Confirm the unit’s identity privately rather than publishing a full serial number.
  • Ask when and how long it was tested, with which firmware, settings and ambient conditions, and what hashrate and errors were observed. One screenshot does not show performance over time.
  • Confirm included accessories, the power supply, connectors and electrical requirements against that model’s documentation. Check that your installation is suitable before buying.
  • Agree the total price, payment method, packaging, transport, responsibility for damage and how a mismatch with the description will be handled. Keep those messages.

From a draft to publication

Sign in, confirm your email and prepare a miner, part or lot listing. Complete the requested details and evidence before choosing a publication offer.

  • Use your own photos: an overall view, model label, connectors and visible defects. Remove addresses, pool credentials and other private information from images.
  • Say what works, what has not been tested and what was repaired. Distinguish seller refurbishment from work actually performed by D-Central.
  • Give test results with their date and conditions. Do not describe hashrate, power consumption or profit as guaranteed.
  • State the asking price, region, included accessories, pickup or delivery options and genuinely available quantity. Update the listing when the hardware sells.

Parts, accessories and compatibility

Similar appearance is not enough: compare part numbers and revisions before ordering a component.

  • Provide the part number, revision, connector, useful dimensions and donor model where known.
  • Say clearly whether a part is tested, untested, faulty or sold for repair. A bare board is not a complete miner.
  • Check compatibility in official manufacturer or project documentation. A seller’s model list is not D-Central compatibility approval.

Farm lots: make each unit clear

For a whole lot or individual units, describe quantity and condition without implying that every machine passed the same test.

  • Separate total quantity, tested units and repair units. Say whether the asking price is for the entire lot or one unit.
  • Prepare a private per-unit inventory and corresponding test evidence. Identify differences in model, condition and included accessories.
  • Agree how partial sales, unit selection, per-shipment fees and stock updates will work. D-Central storage or dispatch requires a separate service agreement.

Reduce unpleasant surprises

Take time to check the evidence and agreement. An email confirmation or sponsored position does not validate the person or machine.

  • Question artificial urgency, unexpected payment-detail changes and demands described as mandatory D-Central payments outside the stated process.
  • Never share a recovery phrase, private key, password or sign-in code. Verify important changes through a channel you already know.
  • A hardware payment agreed directly between peers may be difficult to recover. Choose the payment method and terms with that in mind; do not treat a listing as a guarantee.

Quick answers

Does email confirmation mean a seller is verified?

No. It confirms access to an email address. It does not verify legal identity, ownership or hardware condition.

Has a sponsored listing been inspected?

No. “Sponsored” identifies paid promotional placement. It does not guarantee a sale, a number of views or hardware condition.

What can a hash report establish?

A report describes observations of a specific unit during a test under stated conditions. Ask for the method, date, duration, settings and limitations. It is not a promise of future performance.

Who pays for optional services?

Participants can agree that the seller, buyer or both pay. Only an accepted and paid quote for the exact scope authorizes available D-Central services.

Use this guide to prepare a transaction. Read the current terms and applicable quote before committing. Listings and their technical information remain their sellers’ statements.

Your information and marketplace reviews

Your public marketplace name, listing details, region, asking price and public listing photographs can be seen by visitors and may be indexed or copied. Keep full serial numbers, street addresses, account credentials and unrelated personal information out of public text and photographs.

Ownership photographs and dedicated unit-identification records are kept out of the public listing. They support the listing and duplicate or safety review; providing evidence does not mean D-Central has verified ownership or inspected the equipment. Participants can read their permitted conversations. When a concern is reported, authorized D-Central administrators can review relevant messages and evidence.

Reports and appeals are reviewed manually. A report does not automatically hide an ad or decide a dispute, and no immediate response is promised. Buyers and sellers arrange the hardware payment and delivery directly. This marketplace does not collect the hardware price for payment to the seller or provide hardware-payment escrow.

You can download your submitted marketplace data and request erasure from your account. An erasure request hides your ads and stops new marketplace activity; it does not immediately erase every record or close your shop account. Necessary conversation, safety and review records remain subject to retention and disclosure review. Removing an origin file does not by itself remove caches, backups or copies held elsewhere.

For access, correction or erasure questions, contact support@d-central.tech with the subject “Privacy Officer”. The D-Central privacy policy explains the site’s purposes and retention rules.
