Antminer KS5 family owner hub: Standard and Pro

Antminer KS5 family identification: KS5 Std and KS5 Pro share model/version labels but are distinct sub-models with different exact performance lanes. Confirm Std or Pro on the complete identity before selecting specifications, firmware, electrical assumptions, or repair parts.

For each sub-model, actual hashrate fluctuates ±3%; actual wall power and efficiency fluctuate ±5%. J/T is explicitly scoped to kHeavyHash. Do not compare or calculate efficiency deltas across algorithms.

Electrical preflight

  1. Photograph the complete model/version/sub-model, installed board, PSU, inlet, connector, and cord labels.
  2. Confirm one 20 A input at 220–277 V AC and 47–63 Hz. Wrong voltage can damage the server.
  3. Respect the 4,000 W adapted AC output-power requirement; Bitmain strongly recommends that miner wall power not exceed it.
  4. Have a qualified person verify circuit capacity, continuous-load treatment, protection, conductors, connectors, cords, disconnecting means, grounding, and local requirements.
  5. The current manufacturer roster lists APW171215a/c or PW380a/b/c and an included C20-P13 cord for KS5 only. It does not name KS5 Pro. Do not extend that roster to Pro.

Do not inherit KS3 or unrelated hardware assumptions

KS3 uses a different published electrical boundary. Do not transfer its 200–240 V, dual-wire, efficiency-label conflict, firmware, PSU, cord, board, fan, or parts assumptions to KS5 or KS5 Pro. Likewise, similarly named miners from another manufacturer are outside this family and establish no compatibility or specification.

Firmware, support, diagnostics, and repair

Family boundaries: this hub does not merge KS5 Std and Pro, absorb KS3 or unrelated manufacturer records, assert component interchangeability, or compare kHeavyHash performance with another algorithm. No unsupported silicon, controller, tuning, home, heat, economics, lifecycle, or release claims are made.
