Antminer S19 + PSU Spill-Lip Shroud to 6″

$79.99 CAD

The most complete single-piece capture in the line. A full S19 exhaust-end wrap, extended by a 30 mm lip along the side to catch the spill coming off the power supply — the heat that a normal shroud leaves behind because it is not coming out of the fans.

Description

Overview

The most complete single-piece capture in the line. A full S19 exhaust-end wrap, extended by a 30 mm lip along the side to catch the spill coming off the power supply — the heat that a normal shroud leaves behind because it is not coming out of the fans.

What it fits

Built around the Antminer S19 series exhaust end with a side-mounted PSU. The 30 mm lip captures side spill rather than fully enclosing the power supply — a complete PSU capture in one piece is not physically achievable at a printable size, and we would rather ship the honest 90 percent than promise something geometrically impossible. Standard 6-inch collar.

Measure before you order. Fit dimensions in this line are derived from published fan and chassis geometry and are not yet validated against measured production hardware. Check your flange size and the clearance around your machine against the footprint in the specifications below. If something does not fit, tell us — that is how the next revision gets better.

How it is used

Fit it over the exhaust end with the lip oriented toward the PSU side. For a full PSU capture, pair a plain shroud with the dedicated 4-inch PSU exhaust shroud and merge the two lines with a Y-splitter — that combination captures more than this does, at the cost of two parts and an extra duct.

Why it helps

Once you have wrapped the fan end, the PSU becomes the largest uncaptured heat source on the machine, and it is usually sitting in the worst-ventilated corner of the install. The spill lip catches a meaningful share of that in the same single body, with no second duct and no extra fittings. For an S19 living in occupied space, it is the closest thing to complete containment available as one part.

  • Full exhaust-end wrap plus a 30 mm side lip for PSU spill
  • Captures the heat a fan-face shroud and a plain wrap both miss
  • One body, one duct — no second line to route
  • Single continuous body, no assembly

Open source — print it yourself, or buy it finished

Every shroud D-Central designs is released as an open file. The geometry for this part is free to download from our 3D models download center: use it, modify it, remix it, run it in your own shop, sell what you make from it. There is no licence to buy and no design gated behind a purchase. Shared knowledge is the whole reason this industry has open hardware at all, and we are not going to be the ones who stop passing it on.

This listing is for the finished part: made to order in PETG and shipped from Montreal, Quebec. If you would rather have it in your hands than spend an evening making one, buy it here — that is what pays for the next design in the line. You can also support the open-source work directly through D-Central’s fund page.

Frequently asked questions

Why not a full PSU capture in one piece?

Because it does not fit. A true full-capture body around an S19 and its power supply comes out at over 400 mm on its longest axis, which exceeds what can be produced as a single piece on any realistic machine. We built and tested that geometry, confirmed it was not shippable, and designed this instead. The alternative is a plain shroud plus the 4-inch PSU shroud on its own line.

How much of the PSU heat does the lip actually catch?

A meaningful share of the side spill, not all of it. We have not quantified it and we are not going to invent a percentage. If total capture is the requirement, use the two-part approach with a dedicated PSU duct.

Is this the biggest shroud you make?

It is among them — 325 mm on its longest axis. Check your clearance carefully, including anything mounted above or beside the machine.

6-inch or 8-inch?

If you are capturing this much, take the 8-inch version unless space genuinely forbids it. More captured air needs more duct.
