Antminer S9 owner hub: six exact OEM references
Owner-first Antminer S9 hub: resolve the complete printed model, factory bin, installed control board, external PSU, fan or cooling assembly, and firmware before choosing specifications, parts, recovery media, or service procedures.
S9, S9i, S9j, S9 SE, S9k, and S9 Hydro are six separate OEM identities. Similar cases and hashrates do not make their firmware, board, PSU, connector, cooling, or operating limits interchangeable.
Six canonical OEM references

| S9 | 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5, 12, 12.5, 13, 13.5, 14 TH/s | 3 / 189 | 76 dB |
| S9i | 13, 13.5, 14, 14.5 TH/s | 3 / 189 | 76 dB |
| S9j | 14, 14.5 TH/s | 3 / 189 | 76 dB |
| S9 SE | 16, 17 TH/s | 3 / 180 | 76 dB |
| S9k | 13.5, 14 TH/s | 3 / 180 | 76 dB |
| S9 Hydro | 18.5 TH/s | 4 / 216 | 45 dB |
Published ratings identify an OEM model-level record; they do not prove the configuration of a particular used, repaired, or modified unit.
DC input is not facility AC
The six reviewed miner specifications publish 11.6–13 V DC input. That is the voltage delivered to the miner by an external PSU, not permission to connect the bare miner to 120 V or 240 V facility AC. The exact PSU model and revision determine acceptable AC input, circuit loading, connectors, cords, and protection. Verify its physical label and documentation before energizing the system.
Important source limitations
The S9 SE and S9k source tables publish net weight as 5.46 kg and packing weight as 4.56 kg. Because a packed unit cannot coherently weigh less than the unpacked unit, D-Central does not silently select or reverse either value; both individual references disclose the inconsistency and omit normalized weight.
S9 Hydro is not a three-board air S9 with a different label. Its OEM record specifies four hashboards, 216 chips, 13 PCIe connectors, seven 12 V/2.4 A fans, and 45 dB. Cooling and service decisions must follow that exact identity.
Firmware, recovery, and repair gate
A marketing family name or hashrate cannot select a controller category, firmware image, recovery medium, or safe procedure.
- Identify the installed control board and collect the current version.
- Match the full printed model and exact manufacturer support scope.
- Preserve configuration and logs before any write operation.
- For no boot, missing chains, zero ASIC, fan or cooling alarms, thermal faults, instability, package mismatch, interrupted writing, or uncertain identity, request Antminer diagnosis.
D-Central custom editions
Custom editions are commerce configurations rather than stable OEM S9 model identities. Their current components and choices belong on the maintained product canonical, not in this six-model OEM directory:
- Antminer Loki Edition
- Antminer Pivotal Edition
- Antminer Slim Edition
- Antminer S9 Space Heater Edition
Support for a custom build begins with its purchased variation, base miner, control board, PSU, fan/cooling option, and modification revision—not the edition name alone.
