Antminer S19 / S21 Dual 120 mm to 6-Inch Clamp-Groove Shroud — Wide Base

$38.99 CAD

Wide-base 260 mm alternate of the clamp-groove dual-120 shroud: a recessed seat keeps a 12.7 mm worm-drive band captive on the 6-inch collar so vibration cannot walk it off.

Description

Overview

This is the wide-base alternate of our clamp-groove dual-120 shroud. It captures both 120 mm exhaust fans of an Antminer S19 or standard S21 and converges them into one 6-inch flex duct, and adds a recessed seat on the collar between two reinforcing shoulders so a worm-drive hose clamp cannot walk off the collar under vibration.

What makes it the “wide base” version is the mounting plate: 260 mm across instead of the 250 mm of the standard shroud. That broader plate is meant for base and rack mounting — situations where you want a wider footprint against the machine face rather than a flush fan-panel bolt-on. The dual 120 mm fan capture, the 105 mm screw pattern and the flex-over 6-inch collar are the same as the rest of the dual-120 family, so ducting and accessories interchange.

What it fits

  • Antminer S19 series — dual 120 mm fan panel
  • Antminer S21 standard — dual 120 mm fan panel
  • Any dual 120 mm fan face at 120.0 mm fan pitch / 105 mm screw pattern
  • 6-inch flex duct, secured with a 12.7 mm worm-drive stainless band — hand-tight only

Measure before you order. Fit dimensions in this line are derived from published fan and chassis geometry and are not yet validated against measured production hardware. Check your flange size and clearances against the footprint below. If something does not fit, tell us — that is how the next revision gets better.

How it is used

Mount the shroud over the two exhaust fans so the flange slots line up with the fan screw holes, and fasten it with M4 screws. Washers are required on the fan flange: the holes are 6.40 × 5.00 mm slots, so use a 9 mm or larger flat washer under each M4 screw head, or reuse the miner’s own large-head fan screws. Then slip your 6-inch flex duct over the collar — the duct goes over the outside of the collar and clamps down on the sealing land behind the retention bead. Seat a 12.7 mm worm-drive stainless band in the recessed groove and nip it up hand-tight with a small nut driver — no power driver, no T-bolt or constant-tension band. From there, route the duct to a window, wall port or plenum — wherever the heat is supposed to go.

Why it helps

  • The broader 260 mm base spreads the mount across the machine face — the right shape for base and rack setups where the standard 250 mm plate feels narrow.
  • Two open exhaust fans become one duct, so hot air goes where you decide — out of the room, into a heat-reuse run, or into a shared plenum.
  • All eight fan screws are reachable with a driver: measured 8.11–11.15 mm of tool clearance on every hole in the model, where earlier designs left four screws completely blocked.
  • The recessed band seat keeps the clamp captive between two shoulders, so vibration cannot walk it off the collar.

Open source

Like every part in the shroud line, this model is open source under CC BY-SA 4.0. The print files are free to download at /3d-models/, and anyone may print, modify or sell them — that is the point of the licence. Buying a finished part from us supports the design work that keeps the whole line improving; so does the fund.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the standard version?

The mounting base. This wide-base alternate carries a broader 260 mm base plate where the standard version uses 250 mm — the fan interface, screw pattern and duct sizes are the same. Pick this one when you want a wider footprint against the machine face, for base or rack mounting. The standard version is the clamp-groove shroud.

Will it fit my miner?

It is modelled for the dual 120 mm fan face of the Antminer S19 series and standard S21: 120.0 mm fan pitch on a 105 mm screw pattern. Any machine with that fan face is a candidate. None of the interface dimensions have been caliper-verified against production hardware yet, so measure your fan panel and clearances before ordering — and note that Washers are required on the fan flange: the holes are 6.40 × 5.00 mm slots, so use a 9 mm or larger flat washer under each M4 screw head, or reuse the miner’s own large-head fan screws.

What clamp should I use, and how tight?

A 12.7 mm worm-drive stainless band, nipped up hand-tight with a small nut driver. Do not use a power driver, T-bolt or constant-tension clamp — the seat is deliberately proportioned for a hand-tight band squeezing flex duct into the groove, and no torque figure has been tested on the printed seat.
