What it fits
Planned as collar variants of existing shrouds rather than new bodies, so the fan-side fit would be unchanged and only the outlet size would differ.
How it is used
For very long trunk runs, multi-machine shared lines, and installs built around 10-inch inline fans — typically small hashcenter deployments rather than home setups.
Why it helps
At some point the duct becomes the restriction no matter how well the shroud is shaped. For a long shared trunk, stepping the whole system up a size is the only real fix. This is a niche need, which is why it sits behind the rest of the line.

Open source — print it yourself, or buy it finished
Every shroud D-Central designs is released as an open file. The geometry for this part is free to download from our 3D models download center: use it, modify it, remix it, run it in your own shop, sell what you make from it. There is no licence to buy and no design gated behind a purchase. Shared knowledge is the whole reason this industry has open hardware at all, and we are not going to be the ones who stop passing it on.
This part is not finished yet, so there is no file to download and nothing to buy. When it is done, both arrive at the same time — the file free, the finished part for sale. If the open-source work is worth something to you in the meantime, you can back it directly through D-Central’s fund page.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need 10-inch?
Almost certainly not, if you are running one or two machines at home. This is for long shared trunks and larger deployments. On a normal install, 8-inch is already generous.
Which shrouds will get a 10-inch variant?
To be decided. If there is a specific platform you need it on, tell us — demand is how we prioritise, and the files are open if you want to modify a collar yourself in the meantime.
