160 mm flange adapter shroud for Antminer S19 and S21 dual 120 mm fans
160 mm is the orphan size. There is no imperial equivalent anywhere near it: 6 inches lands at 152.4 mm and 8 inches at 203.2 mm, so every shroud sold in inches misses it by a margin no clamp can close. Which is awkward, because 160 mm is one of the sizes metric ventilation is actually built in, the step above domestic 150 mm where the mid-range inline fans and the better flexible hose live. This shroud puts an Antminer S19-class or standard S21-class exhaust straight onto it.
Both 120 mm fan columns are captured on the machine’s own screw pattern and merged inside a single-piece PETG body, converging into one 160 mm collar: 160.0 mm crest, 158.0 mm land.
If you have been running 160 mm hose taped onto a 6-inch funnel, this is the part that removes the tape.
What it fits: dual 120 mm exhaust at 120.0 mm pitch, on 160 mm duct
Any miner with two touching 120 mm exhaust fans on a 120.0 mm pitch, exhausting into 160 mm metric flex duct. The Antminer S19 series, S19j Pro and S19 XP among them, and the standard S21 are the usual machines. Fan bore is 116.0 mm with a 2.0 mm sealing land per side.
Two neighbours worth knowing about. If you want a broader mounting base on the same 160 mm collar, the wide-base 160 mm version spreads the flange 10 mm further across the fan face. If your machine runs two 140 mm fans instead, take the dual 140 mm to 160 mm shroud.
How it installs
- Place the flange over both exhaust fans, aligned on the stock fan screw pattern.
- Screw down through the 5.0 mm holes and 5.424 mm slots, with the miner’s own large-head fan screws or a 9 mm or larger washer under your own.
- Push 160 mm metric flex duct over the collar, past the 160.0 mm crest.
- Clamp onto the 158.0 mm sealing land, then take the duct where the heat needs to go.
Why 160 mm is worth the dedicated part
The usual workaround for an orphan size is an adapter, and an adapter is two joints and a step in diameter where there used to be none. Every step is a place where the flow separates off the wall and pays for it in pressure, and every extra joint is another thing to re-seal. Cutting the collar at 160 mm removes the adapter from the run entirely.
The collar itself is a flex-over: crest at duct nominal, sealing land 2.0 mm under, which sits at or below the male metric hardware a 160 mm hose is used to going over, and that is what lets a plain worm clamp do the whole job.
- Hits 160 mm exactly, a size no 6-inch or 8-inch collar can reach.
- Removes the reducer or adapter that a metric run otherwise needs at the machine.
- Mounts on the stock fan screws, so nothing is drilled and nothing electrical changes.
- Merges both fan columns before the round transition, so the collar accelerates one stream.
- Seals with a clamp on the 158.0 mm land, with the 160.0 mm crest as the mechanical stop.
- Leaves 9.44 mm of driver clearance at the tightest fan screw.

Open source: an orphan size nobody else draws
There is no commercial reason for a US shop to draw a 160 mm ASIC collar, which is precisely why D-Central Technologies drew one and then gave it away. Frequently asked questions
Why is there no inch equivalent of 160 mm?
Because imperial ducting steps 6 inch to 8 inch, which is 152.4 mm to 203.2 mm, and 160 mm falls in the gap. Metric ventilation fills that gap because it steps 150, 160, 200. If your hose is 160 mm there is no inch collar that will seal on it, which is why this size is drawn as its own part rather than sold as an adapter.
Standard base or wide base, which do I want?
The duct end is identical on both. This one has a 250 mm base; the wide-base version is 260 mm, giving more flange across the fan face for heavy insulated duct or a rack install. If nothing about your mounting is unusual, the standard base is the part to buy.
Can I run 150 mm hose on this collar?
Not properly. A 150 mm hose will not go over a 160.0 mm crest without being forced, and forcing flex hose over an oversized collar deforms the spiral so it never seals again. Buy the 150 mm shroud for 150 mm hose. The whole point of this range is that you never have to make a size fit.
Does the shroud restrict a single S19-class machine?
160 mm is a larger flow area than the 6-inch collar most S19 shrouds ship with, so the collar is not where a run of this size gets tight. What does tighten a run is length, bends and a crushed hose, so keep the duct as short and as straight as the room allows and support it so it cannot sag.
