Overview

The 140 mm version of the intake filter ring — the size Whatsminer M-series hardware and most large-fan builds actually need, and one that is annoyingly hard to buy off the shelf.

What it fits

Fits the standard 140 mm fan face on the intake side. Takes flat filter media cut to size from any sheet stock; no cartridge to buy and nothing proprietary about the consumable.

Measure before you order. Fit dimensions in this line are derived from published fan and chassis geometry and are not yet validated against measured production hardware. Check your flange size and the clearance around your machine against the footprint in the specifications below. If something does not fit, tell us — that is how the next revision gets better.

How it is used

Mount on the intake fans and set a cleaning schedule based on your environment. On a Whatsminer running in a garage or a shop, expect to be pulling media out and shaking it off more often than you would guess — which is exactly the point, because that dust would otherwise be inside the machine.

Why it helps

Big machines pull a lot of air, and everything in that air ends up on the hashboards. A filtered intake keeps the fins clean, keeps the chips cooler at the same fan speed, and turns an annual teardown-and-blowout into a two-minute job at the front of the unit. For anyone running hardware in a dusty environment, this is the highest-value cheap part in the catalogue.
