Whatsminers use 140 mm fans, which means the enormous supply of 120 mm shrouds on the market is useless to you. This is the part that fixes that: a 140 mm fan face straight to a 6-inch duct collar, in one piece.

What it fits

Built to the Whatsminer M-series 140 mm fan flange — the size used across the M20, M30, M50 and M60 generations. Output is a standard 6-inch duct collar. Because Whatsminer chassis details vary between generations, this revision is dimensioned to the bare fan flange rather than to any one chassis wrap.

Measure before you order. Fit dimensions in this line are derived from published fan and chassis geometry and are not yet validated against measured production hardware. Check your flange size and the clearance around your machine against the footprint in the specifications below. If something does not fit, tell us — that is how the next revision gets better.

How it is used

Which Whatsminer models does this fit?

It is dimensioned to the M-series 140 mm fan flange, which is shared across the M20, M30, M50 and M60 generations. Because it references the fan rather than a specific chassis wrap, it carries across generations better than a model-specific shroud would — but fit has not yet been hardware-validated, so measure your flange and clearance first.

My machine has 120 mm fans, not 140 mm. What now?

Should I get the 6-inch or the 8-inch?

A 140 mm Whatsminer fan moves real air. 6-inch is fine for short, straight runs; go to 8-inch if the run is long, bendy, or shared with another machine. When in doubt, size up — oversized duct costs space, undersized duct costs airflow.
