Overview
A gentle 45-degree turn in 6-inch duct. Two of these make a 90-degree turn that costs meaningfully less pressure than a single sharp 90, which is the sort of trade that decides whether a long duct run works or disappoints.
What it fits
Standard 6-inch collars on both ends, matching every other 6-inch fitting in the line. Flexible or rigid duct both work.
Measure before you order. Fit dimensions in this line are derived from published fan and chassis geometry and are not yet validated against measured production hardware. Check your flange size and the clearance around your machine against the footprint in the specifications below. If something does not fit, tell us — that is how the next revision gets better.
How it is used
Use it wherever the run has to change direction. Where you need a full right angle and have the room, two 45s separated by a short straight section is the better-flowing option than one 90. Where you do not have the room, we make a compact 90 for exactly that case.
Why it helps
Bends are where duct runs lose their pressure budget. The loss goes up sharply as the turn gets tighter, so splitting a right angle into two gentler turns is one of the cheapest improvements available in an exhaust system. It costs one extra fitting and a few centimetres of space, and it buys back airflow you already paid for at the wall socket.

Frequently asked questions
Two 45s or one 90?
Two 45s with a short straight between them, if you have the space. The pressure loss through a bend rises steeply as the radius tightens, so two gentle turns beat one sharp one. Use the compact 90 when space wins the argument.
How much does a bend actually cost me?
Enough to notice on a long run, not enough to notice on a short one. If your duct goes two metres out a wall, stop worrying about it. If it climbs a storey and turns three times, the bends are the dominant restriction in your system.
