Cross-Manufacturer ASIC Fault-Equivalence Matrix
Quick answer
This matrix groups D-Central’s 430 published ASIC error-code guides into ten root-cause fault classes and pivots them by manufacturer, so if you know how one brand names a fault — say Bitmain’s “chain find 0 asic” — you can jump to the equivalent on MicroBT, Canaan, IceRiver, Goldshell, VolcMiner, Innosilicon or a Bitaxe/Nerd open-source board. Every cell links a real, already-published diagnosis; nothing here is invented.
This is a root-cause CLASSIFICATION, not a claim that the codes are identical — brands log faults differently and some have no discrete code for a given class (those cells say so). Use it to translate a symptom across brands, then open the linked guide for the exact fix.

The codes, class by class
PSU / power fault
Power supply, voltage-domain, overcurrent, short-circuit or regulator faults.
Temperature-sensor fault
A temperature sensor itself reads wrong, NAKs, or fails (distinct from a genuine over-temp).
Thermal / over-temperature
Genuine over-temperature: thermal runaway, overheat protection, temperature shutdown.
Fan / cooling fault
Fan speed/RPM/tachometer faults and liquid-cooling (hydro/immersion) loop problems.
Hashboard not detected / chain missing
A whole hashboard or chain fails to enumerate: not found/detected, EEPROM read, PLL unlocked.
Bad chips / broken chain / low hashrate
Individual ASIC failures, dead-chip counts, broken chains, hardware errors, low hashrate.
Pool / stratum / auth
Pool connection, stratum, share rejection, worker authentication, pool-algorithm faults.
Network / connectivity
Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, IP, link-down, web-interface-unreachable and related connectivity faults.
Firmware / boot / system
Firmware flashing, boot/kernel hangs, bricks, upgrades, watchdog and system crashes.
220 further error-code entries are setup guides, procedures, or reference pages rather than discrete faults, so they are omitted from this fault matrix — browse them all in the full ASIC error-code index.
