Overview
Same single 120 mm fan intake as the 6-inch version, opened up to an 8-inch collar. The wider outlet is not about the fan — a single 120 mm fan does not need 8 inches of duct on its own. It is about what comes after: long runs, multiple bends, an 8-inch inline booster, or a shared trunk that other machines feed into.
What it fits
Intake matches the standard 120 × 120 mm fan flange. The collar is sized for 8-inch flexible or rigid duct, matching AC Infinity Cloudline S8/T8-class inline fans and standard 8-inch ducting hardware.
Measure before you order. Fit dimensions in this line are derived from published fan and chassis geometry and are not yet validated against measured production hardware. Check your flange size and the clearance around your machine against the footprint in the specifications below. If something does not fit, tell us — that is how the next revision gets better.
How it is used
Use it when the duct downstream is already 8-inch and you do not want a reducer in the path, or when you are building a trunk line that several machines share. It also earns its keep on runs with real length or several 90-degree turns, where the larger cross-section keeps the pressure the fan has to fight against down.
Why it helps
Every reducer, elbow and metre of flex duct costs you static pressure, and a 120 mm fan does not have much to spare. Starting the run at 8 inches means you are not throwing away pressure at the very first fitting, which matters more the longer and more convoluted the duct path gets.

There is no licence to buy and no design gated behind a purchase. Frequently asked questions
Is 8-inch overkill for one 120 mm fan?
On a short, straight run, yes — the 6-inch version is the sensible pick. 8-inch earns its place when the duct is long, has several bends, feeds an 8-inch inline fan, or joins a shared trunk. It costs you nothing in airflow to be generous with duct diameter; it only costs you space.
Can I reduce down to 6-inch later in the run?
Yes, and that is a common layout: leave the shroud at 8-inch, run the trunk, then step down at the window or wall penetration with our 8″ to 6″ reducer. Reducing late is better than reducing early.
Will it fit my exact fan?
It is built to the standard 120 mm flange, so it fits the great majority of 120 mm fans. Fit has not yet been hardware-validated against every chassis in the field — measure your flange and your clearance before ordering, and tell us if something is off.
